CHIP provides Psychiatric Service Dogs ONLY to Veterans.
Facility Dogs
If a dog does not become a Service Dog, then it is tested to become a Facility Dog. These dogs are placed in a variety of health care facilities to provide residents with companionship and love as many of them had to leave their personal pet behind.
