CHIP provides Psychiatric Service Dogs ONLY to Veterans.
Types of Service Dogs Provided
“Heroes Heeling Heroes” Program – Dogs for Veterans
For veterans who have either a mobility impairment and / or psychiatric conditions often times caused by service to our country.
Facility Dogs
These dogs are trained to live in an Assisted Living Facility or Nursing Home to provide comfort and care to the residents.
Educational Programs
Educational programs are provided to school children, civic groups, clubs, organizations, and government agencies.
